Another pregnancy craving thwarted.
Mar. 27th, 2008 10:32 amBack when I was carrying the Zodling, I discovered that the original Jell-o Pudding Pops had been discontinued, then revamped by another company - and that the new ones were greatly inferior in quality.
A while ago, I forget how long, I requested my darling husband bring me some Planter's Cheeseballs from his trip to the grocery store. He said he'd never heard of them, but promised to look. I feared this meant they were a regional product not offered in the South. When he returned with Cheetos Puffs, I figured I was right.
Today I got the notion to go hunting online. The Planter's website is entirely devoid of non-nut products. Woe. Googling for 'Planter's Cheeseballs' brought me to a large number of message boards and blogs of fellow Cheeseball fans, bemoaning the discovery that Kraft (Kraft?!) had discontinued the product. Earliest reference I can find is from 2005. Woe, woe, indeed. ;_;
To make matters worse, a website I found in my search, which specializes in helping us addicts of regional-only products, , has Mrs. Grass' Onion Soup and Dip Mix on its Discontinued Products List.
That mix made the best sour cream and onion dip on the face of the planet. ;_; Again, I'd just assumed it wasn't available in the Deep South. Woe.
