I'm wandering around online looking for attractive, reasonably priced furniture to fill out our somewhat empty living room as time and money permit.
Almost every place I try has assembly required even when the item in question is priced at several hundred dollars!
Shouldn't we get a little convenience at least, in return for the higher prices? o_o Shouldn't we get a little *quality*? Instead of pieces that have particle board for the sides, top, and bottom, a thin cardboard back that attaches with finishing nails, and a pricetag of 250$?
(Note: I am not trying places like Ethan Allen Furniture and other such "real" furniture stores. Their items don't require assembly, and do offer solid construction, but they're really not in our price range at all. I've already looked there a few weeks ago.)
For that matter, aren't there places that have full-assembled bookcases and so forth for less than a hundred dollars? x_x
