sethrakRandom silliness that resulted from catching the tail end of an SG-1 episode.
'Twas the one about Hathor, the Ghoul'd "queen" or whatever she was, who could control men by their hormones like carrots control cabbits. ^_^ Captain Carter and the lady doctor (whose name escapes me - bad SG-1 fangirl! bad!) kept referring to how Hathor's powers made all the male personnel act "libidinous". Occasionally several times in a sentence.... The writers practically fell all over themselves constructing sentences that would work with the word "libidinous" in them, and wouldn't even use the simple word "aroused" as a synonym for some reason, much less anything shorter. I've always had serious attacks of giggles when watching this particular episode for that reason.
So. The random thought occured to me that it was precisely the sort of word Aeka would use, rather than sully her regal lips with the coarser words more commonly used for that, er, state of body and mind. ^_^ I mentioned this to my loving mate:
Sethra: I can just picture Aeka saying that sort of thing, at least Destiny's Balance Aeka. She's the one whom you wrote as saying Davner needed to "curb his marital impulses" after all.
Dav: ::snicker:: Ohh yeah...
(Bad Aeka voice) Davner-tan, you've been acting entirely too libidinous of late.
(Bad Davner voice) ... ::imitates flicking a cigar:: Y'mean, fucking horny?
Then he brought up how Jackie from That 70's Show likes to use a rather flowery way of describing sex, and adapted it to fit:
(Bad Aeka voice) Oh, my Davner-tan, wouldn't you like to go to the back room and prove our love for each other?
(Bad Davner voice) Prove our love... ::blinks for a minute:: You mean, make it on the floor like cabbits? Sure! Let me just finish this cigar.... ::takes a quick final puff:: Let's go!
The conversation broke up in helpless laughter at that point. ^_^
