Might as well elaborate on this a bit...
Wisconsin: born and raised in SE WI; visited Madison, the state capitol; Redgranite, my dad's hometown in central WI numerous times; Door Co, the thumb-shaped penninsula jutting into Lake Michigan; assorted places in northern part of state on vacations.
Upper Michigan: twice for Ethnic Studies courses in college. Never the lower pennisula.
Minnesota: Minneapolis, to visit an extremely ex-boyfriend. Pity I didn't get a chance to roam the local landmarks as much as I'd have liked. Oh well.
Illinois: Chicago mostly, school trips to the museums and the like; small town in southern tip of state while driving south to Missouri.
Missouri: St Louis with my aunt Marge as part of a vacation for my graduation gift; the extreme SE tip to visit Dav's parents twice; Kansas City to catch a plane.
Kentucky: Mammoth Cave, senior trip w/ Aunt Marge. Very very cool, that.
Tennessee: Nashville, Aunt Marge's idea. She's a huge country music fan.
Nebraska: Pretty self-evident. ^_^
Louisiana and Mississippi: Trip to visit my now-deceased great-aunt Mary and her family when I was ten.
Florida: Sojourns in Tampa and Jacksonville; better portion of the senior trip in Kissimmee-St Cloud and the surrounding tourist areas.
DC: Two trips to Washington DC for lobbying purposes; most memorable of which took place during my 21st birthday. ^__^

I'll add explanations when I have more time.

New York: Lived there for a time. It's the Doscher ancestral homeland.
Maine: Lived there in third grade. Built a snow fort.
Georgia: Visited Savannah a couple of times with Steph. Attended a JROTC field competition there.
Texas: Basic training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas. I liked San Antonio, actually. But I only saw it for a day. The rest of the time I was in training.
Maryland: Technical school at the Defense Information School, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. I really liked Maryland. I always said if I didn't crosstrain, I'd like to wrap up my PA career as an instructor at DINFOS. I also saw the U.S. Naval Academy and Annapolis. BTW Annapolis fucking ROCKS!
Delaware: What the fuck?
Nebraska: My current abode. We have corn.... Jesus...
Missouri: Current hideout of my parents. I liked the place, myself. Very quiet and serene. But also very desolate.
Wisconsin: Home state of Sethra and cheese. Milwaukee is an okay town. I'm actually kind of looking forward to going back there and really checking it out. We never really seemed to have much time whenever we were there together.
Illinois: I've been lost up and down in that state.
I'm only counting places I've actually slept in, otherwise I could claim a bunch of other states.
