(It helped that Sarah was also not at her best; went to stand up at a wedding in Aspen this weekend, tried to come home via 24; didn't find out about the road blockade due to massive sinkhole until she was right on top of it. All the alternate routes at that point are more akin to goat tracks, tend to lack guard rails, and have spots that are only one car wide.)
Got started on cleanup of Mark's mattress. (He has a recent aversion to the fitted sheet being on the mattress, and indeed to having the mattress on the bedframe at all. This is why we get Resolve in large quantities at Costco.)
Ran the dishwasher. Sorted laundry. Started running laundry. The dirty clothes mountain isn't dire yet, but if I don't keep on top of it when and as spoons allow? We get a re-enactment of that episode of B:TAS/My Fair Lady, wherein Mr. J is befuddled as to the lack both of socks and of Harley/that asshole language prof. demands to know where the devil Eliza put his slippers. Tom is good at many many domestic tasks. Laundry is not among them.
My stomach's actually feeling the best it has in several weeks. Unsure as to whether this is in spite of or because of my not ingesting anything but water until 12:30, and then only eating a small amount of plain cheerios with rice milk. :/
Returning library books, discoursing on the ones I managed to read before they came due, and handling EFMP and ECHO paperwork can wait til tomorrow.
For now, laundry. And small goofy boy shaped creatures. And lots of sprawling on the couch.
