Just what I expected
Mar. 16th, 2012 10:42 amDr. Flather says Mark is just fine.
No fever. Nothing wrong in his lungs. No infection in his ears, just a negligible amount of wax. Nothing at all but very mild nasal congestion and mucus consistent with a mild cold.
And NO reason he can't be in school.
She gave me a formal note to that effect, but warned me she can't control whatever school policy may be with regard to fevers and sending students home.
I'll send a copy of the note to school with him on Monday, and keep the phone on me at all times just in case. I think I'm also going to start bringing a thermometer with me when I pick him up, to cross check the school nurse's results. Oy vey.
Tom, on the other hand, is genuinely sick. yesterday he came home from work feeling like crud; went to bed early; and felt so bad this morning "my head hurts when I try to see, Kim-chan". I tried to make him stay home, but he had an early morning project no one else could do. He came straight home afterward, and is currently hibernating and looking terrible. :(
I'm falling off the caffeine wagon so I can get caught up on housework and wrangle Zodlings effectively, and staying the hell away from my beloved plague vector except to offer water and soup at intervals. I can't get his crud, I really can't.
