Jul. 19th, 2010 01:21 pmI finally got around to transferring the contents of our old dry staples jars to the set of much bigger jars we bought at a flea market recently.
One small problem: The container of brown sugar has stuck together and to the jar itself in a nigh-impregnable lump. Chipping at it diligently with varied utensils hasn't loosened more than a list brown dust.
Suggestions? >_<
EDIT: Nevermind. I took the sealed container and set it to soak in a sink full of extremely hot water. It is now responding much better to being pried loose with a fork. Another half hour should soften it enough to get it all out. \o/
