Happy first birthday Jack-jack!
Jul. 3rd, 2009 10:23 pmA year ago today, I went to the Women's Health Clinic for what I expected would be a routine third-trimester prenatal appointment, and ended up with an emergency c-section and a darling, wiggly, tiny scrap of a baby boy.
It's been a pretty crazy and eventful year, and still I can't quite imagine he's really one whole year old. ^_^ Still quite darling and wiggly, but not nearly as tiny. He can pull up to standing like a pro, and descend with varying degrees of ease and catastrophe. He can gurgle and coo, and sit up unaided, and steal his big brother's toys. He can beam with joy to hear his Gramma's or uncle's voice on the phone when held to his ear. He is, all around, a most adorable and excellent sort of Jack-jack to have around.
