Yesterday, while chatting to Jeff Rayder, a friend and artist of some talent, he gave me a link to his old art archive, which he hasn't updated in a while.

I had known he'd done some fanart of Tom's and Cavis' Destiny's Balance alter egos. I'd even seen the EZBoard icons somebody made from Jeff's art. Alas, the icons only showed the heads. Rather cute heads, I admit, but difficult to see much else given the size EZBoard requires.

On Jeff's archive this evening, I saw the full-length renditions of Jeff's take on Cavis Darktower and Davner Illias nos Mollidon . (I'll be deactiviating the links in a day or two to avoid fragging Jeff's angelfire account. I seem to recall they're as bad as tripod and yahoo for limiting amounts of bandwidth per month.)

Jeff made them *damn* sexy. ^;;^ I am amazed they weren't smothered by an overwhelming tide of rabid fangirls on the strength of these drawings alone, a long time ago. Davner's chiseled jawline and cocky smile in particular are droolworthy even if I weren't already dating Tom and therefore extremely biased.

If anybody's looking for a good artist to commission for a piece or two, let me know and I'll refer you to Jeff. He's done very well on two pieces Tom bought from him, and while he probably can't take a hundred requests on at once, I know he can fit a few pieces into his schedule.

In other news: The Patriots won the Superbowl! Woot! Congrats Cavis and all you other New Englanders out there!

Finally got around to confirming my suspicions

Methinks the "What states you've visited" website has a teensy, tiny error. Specifically, where it locates Washington DC. Makes it look like part of Delaware and the southern corner of New Jersey, as best I can judge from comparing the red splotches to a Mapquest .jpg of the area. Said red splotch is awfully tiny, but clearly in the wrong spot.

It's *supposed* to be a smallish chunk taken out of Maryland, right on the shores of the Potomac, across from the state of Virginia.

I'll email them to politely bring this to their attention tomorrow sometime.
