Jul. 2nd, 2007 08:02 amHere are some more recent photos of Marcus, taken shortly after
davner got home from Afghanistan.

Mugging for the camera. ^_^

Snuggling on my grandfather's lap. Granpa's in his mid-eighties; this is his first great-grandchild. I need to send copies of the photos we took of the two of them to my mom, so she can email them to Granpa's sister Dorothy. Aunt Dorothy just had her thirtyfourth great-grandchild, so Granpa's eager to start showing off his first. There's some good ones with Gramma too, but the best of the lot's sideways; will post once I figure out how to rotate it without messing things up. (Got a warning message from the image viewer that rotating can alter image quality, and will automatically permanently save the image in the rotated form with the original image's file name.)

Mark and my dad, on Gramma's recliner.

Mark on the swingset in downtown Piedmont. Gramma Doscher's pushing him, I took the pictures.

"Mommy, I'm ready to get out now..."

Here's one of Amara, right before we left Missouri. I miss her so much. ::sigh:: But, it was for the best. Mark's eczema's gotten much much better since he's been in a pet-free environment; and Amara's a lot happier roaming my in-laws' 20 acre property, killing mice and lizards and birds with Taylor, Debbie's giant orange cat. (Think of him as Leo from That 70's Show in feline form. ^_^ ) But I still miss my kitty.
More later. My family took a bunch of pictures in Milwaukee, and gave me hardcopies. I'll post them when I have time to scan them.
Edit: Found this one in the folder of digitals taken in December, before
davner left. Too funny to hide behind a cut. :D

Amara's first encounter with Doofus, my in-laws' pet turtle. She really freaked out. "Mommy, why is this giant rock moving?!"
