It was my sad misfortune recently to write a quick-and-dirty "History of Music in St. Louis" article. The costuming guild is hosting a major event in three years, and the whip-cracker of the group needed something decently researched, fairly well written, and someone who could do all this and be easily guilt-tripped into doing it for her.
Moi was the logical choice. :)
At any rate things went well until I reached the rap section. St. Louis seems to be a hotbed of rappers lately, and I was scrambling to get a few names dropped in the piece. I went out to a rap message board via a Google Search, and...
