The weekend in brief

sethrakI got my first henna design, on my leg, in a place on Manitou's main drag.
At one of Manitou's VERY nice playgrounds, Mark injured his left arm falling off playground equipment, necessitating a trip to Urgent Care, a realignment of the left elbow that pissed him off even more than the initial injury (which is REALLY saying something), and a weekend spent at home resting.
He's STILL barely using that arm, keeping it curled against his side as much as possible, and since he's normally a lefty, this is cause for considerable concern.
Tricare's official appointment line is exhibiting its usual clusterfuck regarding followup appointments in general and followup appointments for Urgent Care visits in particular. If the pediatric clinic, when it opens later this morning, ONCE AGAIN has all its appointments filled because everybody else who didn't have followups to schedule was allowed to make their appts. through Tricare earlier in the morning, and wants me to try calling back tomorrow, maaaayyyybbbbeeee they'll have something open..... I am going to have to let Tom go off-leash to his first sargeant.
And then cancel school for both Mark and Jack so I can sit in Urgent Care all damn day, possibly necessitating a reschedule of my own appointment this afternoon.
