Um.... GTA: VC has been out *how* long? And they're only just now raising sufficient fuss about that line to get the makers to remove it from future copies?

If a game came out with a subplot requiring the player to Keel Ze Polacks, I would hope whatever powers may be in the American Polish community would be a bit quicker to protest.

Heh. Looking at my copy now, I suppose parents are too stupid to look at the back where it says in bold lettering:

MATURE, 17+
BLOOD AND GORE
VIOLENCE
STRONG LANGUAGE
STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT

Guess they must've missed that part, what with it taking up a good portion of the bottom of the case, and everything.

Seriously, parents are so fucking ignorant when it comes to video games. When my kids start getting into video games, I'm taking an active part. I'm checking out their games first and I'm limiting their time on them. I have nothing against video games, but like anything else, you have to use them responsibly. I don't care how great a game is, if a kid is playing it eight hours a day, at least SOME of that time is being wasted.

I want my kid to be able to at least THROW and CATCH a ball.
