Oh, ye gods.
Spent a very unpleasant weekend with some sort of ill-defined bug that made me feel like every muscle in my body had been beaten with sticks and gave me bouts of lethargy and lightheadedness. Got better just in time to spend an entire day with Jack (school field trip, parent-provided transport only, route involving unavoidable panic attack segments), and now an entire day with Mark (same field trip, different school). At least today, being payday, means I can take Mark to Walmart after Jack's at school and get part of the grocery shopping done.
It'll require a quick stop at the soda vending machines in Walmart's entrance, though. Between watching my recording of DWTS (Maks and Hope are still in it! Yay!) and baking cookies for one of Tom's friends on a deployment, I was up ridiculously late. I am intensely grateful that Mark and Jack's school district therapists went to today's field trip to aid some of their other students, so I did not have to be sociable or indeed coherent at 9 am.
This weekend we're going up to Denver to Bass Pro Shop for their free Santa photos and activities, since the boys didn't go to the field trip. Also so Tom can ogle outdoor gear and we can all check out more of Denver. I need to check out the Occupy Denver website beforehand, so we can avoid their areas of activity, at Tom's request. His reasoning is that Occupy Denver is one of the ones where violence has broken out and he wants to keep me and the boys safe. My reasoning is that if Occupy Denver isn't experiencing any violence on Saturday before we arrive, they will if Tom shows up, and I don't have a dedicated fund for Bailing Out Conservative Family Members yet. ;p Getting some spare cash together to reactivate my paid LJ and DW status (and my precious icons) is higher, along with Christmas gift funds.
