Proving my not-dead status

Been insanely busy, and insanely stressed, to the point where I took myself to the doctor Monday and got on some medication; followup visit with the behavioral health clinic next week; blood work at the lab re: possible anemia or thyroid problems behind the massive fatigue still pending.
So far all the anti-depressant's done for me is remove the feeling that I am about to shatter; which is GREAT, don't get me wrong. And I wasn't expecting any kind of major improvement in mood or overall outlook on life. I was just hoping that the promised increase in energy and decrease in fatigue would arrive by now. I've also got a prescription for a week's worth of Ambien, to try and reset my screwed up sleep patterns, but so far have not dared take it. I've had to drive places more than once the past few days, and I don't want to risk one of those hemi-semi-demi-somnnambulent episodes Ambien is noted for.
Tom has been awesome through this. ^_^ But there's only so much he can do, so I'm following up on the meds and the therapy, contrary to my usual habits of following up on, well, *anything*.
Finally got the paperwork from Dr. Sayers' office to get Jack on EFMP; need to follow up and get the DOD forms from EFMP and get the ball rolling there too.
And now I must tear myself away from the computer and go wake the Zodlings, as I have to meet Jack's speech therapist at the gate for a new base pass.
