sethrakMy birthday's coming up on the 14th, and as I have been asked to provide gift suggestions, here are a few.

Vice Cream: Gourmet Vegan Desserts Yes, I know Mark won't eat them. But maybe someday he will. And it might be fun to make.
The New Adventures of Queen Victoria, volume one Told you guys this was becoming a new webcomic obsession of mine. :D
Bringing Nature Home: How You Can Sustain Wildlife with Native Plants, Updated and Expanded
Doctor Who, the Ninth Doctor Have seen it once, when the well-lovedshinjuyuki brought it on a visit, but don't own it and really really want to.
Doctor Who, the Tenth Doctor's first season. Have not seen. Very much want to.
Any complaints about the previous requests being "too British" will be countered with "It's my birthday, not yours, and you don't have to watch them with me if you'd rather not. Go write fic or do classwork instead."
Nodame Cantabile volume four No, this is not "another weird gender bending manga". I have precisely two series of that nature: one of which I gave up on because it is fluffy fun, but gets annoying; one of which I adore passionately because it is exquisitely written, but the next volume doesn't even come out in Japan til next fall, and there's no scheduled US release yet.
If you're feeling ambitious, see if you can find a new-to-me manga series similar to Maison Ikkoku or Fruits Basket for me; Will's probably a good source.

Handmade leather koi keychain Bookmarked this etsy site a looooong time ago, when the owner had koi hairclips. My hair's now a bit short for that, and anyway, they appear to be currently out of stock. but the keychain's gorgeous. I plot using it as hangable art from the rearview mirror of Tohru-chan, or possibly adapting it into a necklace.
The green variant of this dress. Or, the pistachio leaf variant of this skirt. Gorgeous, wearable even when chasing Zodlings, and machine washable.
Ideas branching out from this are always welcome. By no means is this intended to be a required list, and I know perfectly well we can't afford for you to get me everything on it, Tom-chan. That's fine. I just wanted to give you a range of ideas.
