Quick post of parental squee!
Nov. 17th, 2008 05:18 pmOn Friday, Mark passed his auditory brainstem response test with flying colors! :D Doesn't even have any fluid buildup left in his ears, so Zyrtec is doing its job. (Longer post on the... joy... that was dealing with our little Calvin-incarnate before the sedation kicked in may come later.)
So... Now we know that when he ignores "No!" or his name, it isn't because he can't hear us. ::amused:: The developmental reasons are, of course, still up in the air.
Which brings me to my next brief squee: I finally got a call back from ARC. His developmental evaluation is Dec. 9th, 9:30 am. :D Once that's done, we can get Tricare's approval for whatever therapies he needs.
Also squee: Evidently an already-sleeping Jack-jack stays asleep when the vacuum is on, even when it's maneuvering inches from and even under his swing.
Less squee: Mark, even when playing happily with a musical toy in his room, and apparently oblivious to Mommy's presence for good or ill, will still totally lose his shit if Mommy ducks out and closes the door, that Mommy might take a shower. :;face-palm::
He's still sleeping off that tantrum. I'll wake him if he's still asleep when
davner gets home.
Still have longer stuff to ramble on about. Maybe I'll toss Mark upstairs earlier tomorrow...
