Wark! Wark!
May. 2nd, 2008 09:49 amAs stated in my last post - the following picture is not, repeat NOT a piggyback ride.

It is a chocobo-back ride. Complete with wark-warks and a badly-hummed rendition of Waltz of the Chocobos. Yes, I am a nerd. ^___^ The tradition began back when my sister Katie was a toddler, around the time FF VII came out. She loved loved loved watching our brothers play it, particularly when the chocobos were on-screen. So, we came up with the idea of chocobo rides. It got to the point where all you had to do was say "Katie, wark-wark?" and she'd giggle and run up and try to climb on, even if you were standing.
This photo was taken sometime last summer. It's in a folder with a ton of other photos downloaded Oct. 3 2007, so I can't say exactly when. Note the extremely fuzzy hair on Mark, my little dandelion baby. Note the really really long hair on me. Back then it reached my waist. I got it cut to just below my shoulder blades last fall. The bottom six inches were getting nasty split ends, and I was getting heartily tired of Mark-chan gnawing on it and using it as a handle.
I can't wait til I can give him chocobo rides again. ^_^ I know he hasn't forgotten them; every time I sit on the floor, which is getting rarer these days, he tries glomping my back and gets upset when I don't cooperate.
