Fangirling ahead
May. 12th, 2008 08:21 amDear Kami-sama,
There was only one way you could possibly have made up for allowing that manipulative lying anti-feminist strumpet Parvati to win Survivor last night: allowing me to wake up and see an entertainment news article on the web describing how Ozzie glomped Amanda at the after-show and proposed to her. (Or at least glomped her and talked her into a LDR. They did only know each other a month.)
You failed. Epically.
Granted, at the beginning of this season, I figured Amanda was playing Ozzie the way Parvati was playing James, except Ozzie was cheerfully aware of it and not letting it go to his head. But then I saw the way he acted at the final jury vote; the look in his eyes, and the way his voice got choked up. The way Amanda reacted to it, too. They were adorable. And surprisingly genuine.
I also call your attention, oh Kami-sama, to the dorktastic way Ozzie behaved when he voted for Amanda. Gushing about what a great person she was, then "Uh... and I love you." Using much the same goofy expression and nervous intonation as when Eric Foreman told Donna "I love... cake?". Heeeee.
How can you not have had a proper public glomping to appease the fangirls and upstage the publicity of Parvati winning? Especially since any wise and just god would have had Amanda win, or at least there be a tie?? What was that idiotic jury *thinking*?! Grrr.
To repeat: You failed.
I await the manner in which you plan to make up for this gross karmic misjudgement with great interest.
Sincerely, Sethra
(Further fangirling and mommy posts will be sparse for the next week or so. My brother's on his way back from Iraq, and will be visiting us for a week starting Wed. I need to clean in preparation, and then spend some quality time with my eldest lil bro. I haven't seen that boy since... hell, since before my first pregnancy. We have a lot of catching up to do.)
