Zodling's asleep, and soon so shall I be. I need a break.

Why? All three of Zodling's pacifiers have been AWOL the last two days, despite much rummaging through the house on my part and Dav's in quest of them. (It seemed to bother us more than him; I simply couldn't accept that all three had been stolen by goblins or kitsune.)

This morning, I see Mark-chan fishing inside a brown suede-ish boot of Dav's next to the playpen. I figure he'd dropped a lego or something inside by accident.

Nope. Out comes a fistful of pacifier. I, being on the far side of the room, have no hope in heaven of grabbing it from his fingers so I can wash it before he stuffs it in his mouth, but I try anyway. Failed, obviously.

Clearly the little goof has inherited Mommy's hoarding tendencies. ::glances up in general direction of her not-so-secretly-hidden boxes of Samoas....:: But at least I don't hide edible items inside shoes or other unsavory places! >_<

I may break into my stash of caffeine-free Dr. Pepper today. ::shakes fist at the bottling company that foolishly does not sell them in VA::

Today is Random Link Day, I guess. This made me snicker.

Mana energy drink

Not recommended for people with heart conditions, unless you have heightened tolerances for caffeine, such as programmers or, well, gamers accustomed to 12 hour plus sessions I guess. Each 40 ml bottle has the same caffeine content as two Red Bulls. Not recommended for those with low GP, either: the main website (http://www.manapotions.com/about.html) lists the price at $20.47 for a six pack, not counting shipping and handling. So, approx. $3.42 per 40ml bottle. O_o


Zodling got his first taste of cheerios after his nap. He seems to quite like them. ^_^ After the hates-water incident, I was a little worried he might not. He's also tidier with them than with the Roasted Veggie Ritz crackers we've been giving him for the last couple weeks. (I suspect he may be swallowing some of the cheerios whole, but he never choked once, which is not true for the crackers.) I don't think cheerios will surpass crackers for fave snack, though. He *loves* those crackers.

Now to toss him into the playpen with a Backyardigans DVD on tv so I can do laundry...
