I've been tearing around the house in a panic all day, in between bouts of taking care of Mark, trying to find my VA voter ID card, because I was convinced for some reason that VA required I show that ID card and no other in order to vote.
Finally decided to check the BoE website to see if I really did need it, and am thankful to report that my driver's license should suffice, since I already voted in an election here. ::knock on wood:: Here's hoping they haven't changed it lately and neglected to update the website.
The current plan of attack is to go to my polling place sometime during the day, when voter traffic is likely to be low, because I'm going to have to tote Mark-chan along in his stroller. I know vaguely where it is; double-checking Mapquest for directions right now so I don't get too lost.
I still need to find that ID card, though. :sigh: Well, at least now it's not such a time-critical task. And on the upside, the coat closet is now a lot cleaner. (Don't ask.)
