I broke down and bought Half-Blood Prince on lunchbreak today.

Finished it fifteen minutes ago. We will now pause this post while I bounce around the room in a fit of terminal squee-locity. :D

I won't go into spoilers just at present - not sure if there's anyone else on my friends list who's still been unable to read it - but I will say this:

Harry. Harry, Harry, Harry. ::headdesk:: Of all the stupid things your teenage hormones and youthful sense of overdone nobility have inspired you to do, this has got to be one of the worst. You went and pulled a frigging Peter Parker! ::headdesk again:: I wanted to reach through the screen and throttle Tobey Maguire when he did it to Kirsten Dunst. How could you do such a stupid thing?

Oh. Right. Your author is an evil evil woman who enjoys tormenting her fans. Still, no excuse, really. Bad wizardling, no crumpet.
