Nov. 18th, 2003 11:09 amRawr. I was going to steal the *0's thing Steph has, but then realized - I don't know how to turn text to bold in LJ... -_- I am such a pathetic dork, ne?
Kinda bored. But, hopefully after tomorrow that will no longer be an issue. ::crosses her fingers:: I have an interview at 3:30 at O'Charley's with two more managers for that hostess job - and if it goes well I should be getting shifts by the weekend.
Steph went somewheres with Amber. I hope this time she'll bring back food that us non-paying customers can sample. ^_^ Last couple cakes were solely for the consumption of her co-workers as a marketing tactic. Understandable, but it's frustrating to see yummy baked goods and not be allowed to taste any. I'm not four years old anymore, so I can't stealthily break off a surely un-noticeable bit and nibble on it like I did back then when Mom wouldn't let me touch stuff. Darn it. ^_^
Right now I'm bouncing between checking my buddy list and watching re-runs of ER.
I love ER, strangely enough. When faced with real life medical situations I freak out. But when I watch ER - at least until things get too gooey - I find myself getting fascinated by the ituations, wishing I knew more about some of the cases, even when they're five second walk-on roles that never get referred to again. I get all caught up in the relationships and politics betwene the doctors. I yell at Luka when I find out he's seeing this female doctor he met on that Doctors Without Borders trip, who happens to have another boyfriend back home in Canada, and at the same time seems to have something of a thing for, um, that cute but slightly neurotic female doctor. The one who's got a seriously depressive brother. Her name escapes me. I keep rooting for the on again off again thing between Dr. Chang and that damn sexy black doctor. ^___^ He's a bit of an excessive flirt, and a bit of a putz, but he has potential.
::slight bounce:: I still want something more constructive to do. But I'm at least finding something to keep me occupied.
