Gooey Chocolatey Goodness....

One of the minor but niftiest fringe benefits of moving into this apartment is having a working oven again. It's been sooooooo long since I baked. Right now I'm scarfing down a couple of warm from the oven chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk. One of life's simplest and best pleasures.

Next on the agenda - learning to make more complex baked good, like pies from scratch.

Reading the lil blurbs on each Democratic candidate provided by MSNBC.com is proving unexpectedly amusing.

I don't know why, it just strikes me as amusing that the current primary occupation of a presidential candidate is 'pecan farmer'. Not 'Presidential candidate'.
