I got the job!

The interview with Fontanelle Nature Center for housekeeper was today. Dav dropped me off a little early, around 9:30. I walked in, asked to speak to Mr. Ericson.... and in short order was being introduced around the center to my new co-workers. There was no interview. ^_^ They pretty much hired me on the spot. Evidently they needed someone really badly, and just wanted to take a look at me to make sure I wasn't a drug addict or Goth or something of the sort before getting me on the payroll. I start tomorrow.

I'm really happy. Housekeeping may not be my dream job, but the pay's not bad, and the hours are perfect. Dav can drop me off when he's on his way to duty; and I can either walk down to Southroads mall to wait for him to pick me up at lunch, or take the bus into town to do stuff. I finally have something to DO with my days besides lurk in the apartment hoping I'll get a callback for an interview.
