Mild case of wanting to crawl into an Akari House and die. Last night Mark-chan decided to outdo the infamous performance he gave the night before we went to Missouri for Christmas last winter. Miraculously, he stopped just short of making us send him airmail back to his Grammy.
Dav's out and about getting supplies. Brave man. I don't want to look at a car until tomorrow at the earliest - and I was the back-seat baby entertainer. He drove all day both days. Zodling is squalling in his crib. Fell asleep on my shoulder while I danced with him to 80's music; woke up the second I tried putting him to bed. And the second time I tried it, after rocking him for a short period in the glider. After last night, Mommy's not having any of that. I'm taking a mental health break, then finishing unpacking. If he stops screaming at some point during that process, I may pick him up for cuddles. Or I may wait til he falls asleep or I'm done with what I need to do. My maternal patience is at an epic low. ::falls over::
