Cute Callisto story.

He did the silliest thing this morning.

I was half asleep. He was on the bedroom window sill, which is pretty high up, and directly above the nightstand.

I hear a thud. I figure he just leapt off and went wandering away somewhere. He does this all the time. Usually no cause for alarm.

I start hearing frantic scrabbling noises.

I lift my head, and his hind paws and tail are all that's visible above the nightstand. He was stuck in headstand position between the wall and nightstand. Hind paws frantically trying to gain a purchase on the wall so he could climb back up. I hadn't thought there was a gap big enough for him to fit back there.

Not hurt, just kinda stuck. I laughed myself silly. Then I pulled it out far enough to get him loose, and he scurried away under the bed.

I'm sure he would have, but I could see his head, and when I drt him free, he scurried under the bed too fast for me to get a good look. Probably too humiliated at having to be rescued by The Female.
