sethrakWell, as previously noted, I went shopping with my mother the other day, and got a few things with part of my recent training bonus.
I didn't get anything all that fascinating. But hell, if I can't ramble on my own journal, where can I?
I got:
- a pretty card for my cousin's upcoming Confirmation
- some snacks
- a cute lil resin angel playing a harp. It's meant as a potted plant decoration, so it has a small stake in the bottomw for inserting into the soil. I added it to my potted hyacinths, and stuck the pot out on my back porch, so the now-dormant bulbs can get some sunlight and fresh air.
- a bottle of nail polish. Pale pink polish. It's such a girly-girl purchase. I can't imagine what got into me. I don't normally do the girly thing. I was such a tomboy as a kid, and to a certain extent still am. But, they were on the shelf as I went wandering down the aisles at Walmart, and that one just called to me....
Now I have very very pink toenails. ^_^;
