Part of my day has been spent in researching local voter registration requirements, and looking up who my state and congressional representatives are, now that I have an address to use for the handy "Find your Rep" segment of the state Board of Elections website.

The local members of the State House of Delegates and State Senate, both members of the Senate, and my Congressperson are either listed as members of the Republican party, or list personal heroes such as Ronald Reagan, which strongly suggests that they aren't exactly members of the Green Party.

Where my entire Congressional delegation is Democratic; unfortunately, they're the only Democrats IN SIGHT . . . my state legislators/state officials are all Republicans. Fortunately, one or two of them have the good grace to have a libertarian bent, which does make the difference between "bad" and "worse" . . .
