Semi-relief
Feb. 24th, 2003 09:36 pmThe visit to Dr. Chang wasn't as bad as I'd feared. Not much fun, though. ;_; I wish I'd had someone along as comfort. But nooo. Even the cold comfort of Dad being there was denied me. Baka decided to wait in the car. In the parking structure outside the hospital. Without a book, even.
Grr.
I'd get into details, but I'm tired. Here's the Cliff Notes version.
He's pretty sure it's ulcers; and the cure is not as invasive as I'd feared. But there's still some unpleasantness to endure. I'll tell y'all later.
It'd be nice, for once, if my mother could treat this as something other than an inconvenience to her. But it's time I gave up expecting that. At least she's willing to make Dad pick me up after next week's tests. Dr. Chang was very firm that I wouldn't be able to go home alone. I _hope_ he just means because I'll be groggy from the sedation....
Me go eat and sleepy now.

Anyhow, I'm glad to hear that he's pretty certain it's the ulcers, and that the treatment is fairly not bad.
