A nice lazy afternoon on Spring Break

Jack developed a severe case of sour pickleness, so I made him come snuggle on my lap with a favored blankie and watch Maison Ikkoku til he fell asleep. \o/ He's now snoring on a couch.
Mark, once I laid Jack down, gave me the big pleading eyes of doom and requested a movie, so I turned off my anime and let him pick a Sesame Street dvd. He and Jack did a goodly amount of romping in the yard, and the back door's still open if he wants to take a break from Count von Count. If he attempts to fall asleep, he's only getting half an hour of naptime; I and Tom are sick unto death of having to stay up late to make sure he didn't have a massive accident in the bathroom requiring deep cleaning.
Right now I am polishing off some leftover strawberry rhubarb pie while I wait on laundry, and trying to stop myself from going overboard with ordering books to be held for me at the nearby Barnes and Noble. :D :D :D I was tempted to make Locke & Key volume two part of the list, but 20 bucks for an awfully thin book, albeit an awesome one, does not meet my cost-benefit analysis requirements. Not this payperiod; I have to replenish money I borrowed from my Margaret wedding trip fund and make my monthly addition to it as well. Instead I'm getting volume 14 of D. Grayman (finally!), volume six of Temeraire, a couple feminism books, and a couple gardening books. :D I can't pick them up until Friday, but I probably won't have time to read them until the boys are back in school next week anyway.
