Two days of near-normalcy.

Now back to Stupid Gastrointestinal Tricks.

Rotten timing, too: I *was* going to take a fairly nice chunk of money (normal payday non-allocated funds plus Tom's early birthday gift to me) and go to JCP while the boys are in morning preschool. JCP's new sale system means today is one of two Friday sales all month.

But between angry stomach and not having showered yet, I am running out of Zodling-free time, and probably wouldn't be up to a shopping trip within the narrow time window available even if I were already showered and dressed better than the minimum necessary to collect the boys from the bus.

So instead, I am going to go shower and do some cross-stitch. And grump. A LOT.

We also have the Norovirus That Came From Hell and Refused To Go Back Again at the Casa de Ryuuoh right now. We're all on our THIRD freaking iteration of blorky/tired/cranky/randomly nauseous. I consider myself fortunate because I'm normally the one who ends up worshipping porcelain when the whole house gets sick and is the last to kick it, because I end up cleaning up after everyone else. This time, my case is fairly mild...and I'm still cleaning up after everyone else. :P

I'm very grateful that my current bout, and whatever it is that Jack has, are not nausea. Diarrhea isn't fun, either, but vomiting in small boys who run screaming in pain because the stomach acid burns their noses and throats, thus spreading the mess? Is demonstrably worse.
