Bloodwork: Done!
Feb. 6th, 2012 12:53 pmAs predicted, revealing I'd been putting off getting the doctor-recommended bloodwork done for several weeks resulted in a fight. Tom is very worried about my health, the dizzy spells, the shortness of breath, the chest pains, all of it.
And because he is worried about me and loves me, it also resulted in him coming along with me to the lab this afternoon on his lunchbreak, to help me through it. Between the line being nonexistent for a change, and his assistance (I actually tried to bolt from the room at one point, with a tourniquet on my arm no less), it only took ten minutes. Afterward we drove to the base McDonald's to get him lunch and me a snack so I'd be fit to drive him back to work. (He could have driven me home, but then he'd either have to walk back, or take the car and leave me carless til his shift was over.)
My arm's still sore, but the nurse was awesome, as was Tom, and now hopefully we can rule out some of the potential causes of my health issues.
I am going to go take a nap til it's time for the Zodlings to return from school.
