sethrakThe Zodling Gastrointesinal Plague of Fall 2011 seems to be dwindling. Thank GOD. ::shudder::
I hope it is many many MANY months before I again have to deal with small boys and tummy troubles, or have to handle stool sample kits. We STILL don't know what was causing the plague, as all the samples came back negative aside from a slightly elevated white blood cell count on one of Mark's, which only indicates something had been irritating his digestion. But the antibiotics seem to be working, and on doctor's advice we're going to put them on probiotics after the medicine is done. Also, Jack's on Nexium for a month to make sure his vomiting (which was more severe than Mark's) does not do any long term esophageal damage.
They go back to school on Monday, for the first time in three weeks. There will be much rejoicing.
