sethrakThe electricity didn't come back on until 7 pm last night. ::sigh:: We made several calls to Housing inquiring what was going on, and got several calls from Housing checking to see if our power was back on yet, as it was apparently returning street by street. I cannot fathom why they couldn't just turn off a small section of the power grid, instead of all of it, if brining it back on was a street-by-street affair. Meh.
Davner ended up going out to Burger King to fetch provisions. He came home moments after the power returned. There was much rejoicing. ^_^
The fish seem to have coped with the 10 hours of no heat and no filtration, but the water still looks like crap. I'll post more on that later, but right now I am le tired. Did entirely too much running around in circles with Mark at Target yesterday, which made my back, glutes, and legs hurt; and we also had a parent-teacher conference this morning. I plan to spend most of today on the Internet or flopped on the couch. If the Zodlings get antsy they can put on jackets and romp in the yard.
