Also a method for removing them if you wish.

I will NOT, repeat, NOT, be crossposting any of my comments, and I find it exasperating that this is an opt-out function, not an opt-in.

I further find it exasperating, and enraging, that there are reports of people getting pingbacks for locked posts, which isn't supposed to happen, and the pingbacks include part of the post content.
