Jul. 29th, 2010 11:16 amWell, partial edit/update to last post:
While I was working on an email to Mark's old teacher, I got a call from the special ed. coordinator at D.11. She was calling about Jack, not Mark. We're getting an in-home speech assessment for him on Monday.
She was able to tell me Mark's officially now at McAuliffe, and that there will be nobody at the school to answer my questions until early August, shortly before school starts. :;face-palm:: She did not know what was going on with his bus or whether the dress code applies to preschoolers. (His preschool in VA had a code, but only applied it to first graders and up.)
I am irritated that they did not send a letter over the summer regarding these issues. Kinda hard for me to get him to the bus on time if I don't know when it'll arrive. Kinda hard for me to drive him to school if I don't know if he's morning or afternoon session. Kinda hard for me to comply with the dress code, or procure his school supplies, without the necessary information.
Oh well. At least they're moving swiftly on the speech therapy.
On a side note, photo of Marcus-monster from the enlisted picnic we attended yesterday. :D (Here's hoping the "imbed image from link" worked.)
Edit: grrr, it did not. Will worry about it later.
