No infection in the raw areas. \o/

His tummy troubles are standard-issue viral ones, and the treatment is the same standard "push fluids, try the BRAT diet, keep the affected areas really clean".

The doctor said to stop using Neosporin, as a sizable percentage of the population is allergic to it, and he doesn't care for it even in people who aren't. The best thing we can use is the creamy form of Desitin.

He also said to make sure Jack gets no dairy products, as people with diarrhea can develop temporary lactose intolerance which makes the symptoms worse. Soy milk lacks those proteins. Since Jack doesn't care for cheese or any of the real-dairy products we've offered him, this is not a problem. His refusal to eat anything on the BRAT diet except possibly the toast may be more problematic, but if we stick to bland foods and lots of fluids, he should be ok.

I hope this doesn't last two months, the way one of Mark's bouts of stomach trouble did. >_
