sethrakIf: you, or someone you know, makes a post that denigrates women or feminism, or even 'merely' comments on a news article about feminists in a manner that boils down to "Hur hur, lesbians!" or "But why are they so damn angry all the time?!"...
And: I reply in a calm and polite manner to point out that wasn't funny, and the article does not describe remotely angry women...
Then: It does not mean you have to sleep on the couch tonight, if you live under my roof. Or someone else's couch. Or that you need to be issued jesting offers of hospitality in another state. Or, if you're someone living in a different house, that you need to be worried I'll break your balls, or set you on fire, or whatever the current "ZOMG Feminists are so violent if you disagree LOL!" meme is.
It just means I am stating my views on the subject. I'm not angry. If I am angry, I'll tell you so. I will probably not offer violence, unless you are violent towards me.
That's all.

Honestly. ::rubs temples:: I have a preschooler the size of a moose who's been climbing in the tomato plants and having attacks of diarrhea to deal with today. It'd be real nice if I didn't have to deal with misogyny and similar nonsense, just for a little while.
