Yet another zodling illness update
Nov. 22nd, 2009 09:47 pmMark napped briefly around 1, and awoke with bright red cheeks. No fever, just very flushed. Less sneezing than this morning, but the same amount of coughing and runny nose.
He nibbled on crackers and cheerios off and on over the course of the afternoon. Only ate one bite of his pork chop at dinner - and it was cooked to juicy perfection, he really missed out, poor kid - and declined to eat anything else. He did sit quietly and patiently until I was finished before declaring himself "all done".
Had a heck of a time convincing him to drink much juice all afternoon and evening, but he did drink more than this morning. He fell asleep not long after dinner. Once I was sure he wasn't going to wake up again, I got his bedroom ready and carried him upstairs. He barely woke for the diaper change, and rolled over under the blanket as soon as I was done.
If he doesn't perk up by morning, I'm calling the doctor, and possibly keeping him home from school. I doubt it's either form of flu, but there's no sense in infecting the other students and his teachers.
I'm so glad
