We're not.

But we - and this is important - are NOT suffering that much.
Hell, it's barely dipping into the twenties during the nights! I'm being careful about which rooms have open vents and which don't because we're poor and VA building codes don't seem to rate insulation as a big priority. Not because it's actually bad out.
Relax, you meteorological drama kings and queens. It's not like you don't have real weather emergencies to concern yourselves with, in the proper season. We get hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, and even tornadoes. Try to be patient.
