A day late
Oct. 21st, 2008 09:22 amHappy anniversary to the love of my life,
davner. ^_____^ It's been a wonderful four years.
Would've posted yesterday, but I was rather busy. Massive amounts of post-combat training-laundry, cuddling a teething toddler and a cranky infant, and then making dinner and fresh choc. chip cookies. Cookies which
davner proceeded to burn himself on, because he has no concept of patience. ^_^
Mark, once again, refused to fall asleep at naptime yesterday. And once again, he fell asleep at a quarter to seven. I feel a little bad this time. I took advantage of Dav taking him outside to practice riding his trike, to make the cookie dough, because Mark shrieks in terror when we use the hand-mixer. So I didn't have dinner ready before he fell asleep. ;_; If this becomes a pattern, we'll have to adjust dinnertime so we can put him to bed earlier.
We're getting a babysitter for Friday night, so we can go to a really nice little sushi/Japanese cuisine restaurant called Kappo Nara. Awesome food, great atmosphere, and not too far from our house. We may either go to the Coldstone Creamery next door for dessert, or see if there's something open by the City Center and take a stroll around the massive fountains. It will hopefully be an excellent evening. ^____^
