Mar. 7th, 2012 08:07 amThe good part of yesterday was getting the first shamrock shake of the season, going to the only public library close enough to access while the boys are in school without missing their return bus, and making my appointment for the cardiologist. Initial consult's March 13th around 2:15, and Tom's gotten permission to leave work early so he can get the boys off the bus and wrangle them til I come home.
The bad part was coming home and getting hit with a wave of fatigue and stomach issues, and eventually crashing on the couch so hard while Tom was working on dinner that he sent me up to bed. Damn. He made quesadillas, and he's GOOD at those. I eventually revived enough to come down and eat some chicken soup after the boys were tucked in; Tom spent half an hour sitting at the top of the stairs with a course book in hand making sure Mark stayed in his room, and cleaned up a nasty diarrhea outbreak.
Still tired. Still feeling like crap. Had to clean up after another diarrhea outbreak of Mark's shortly after Tom went to work. Unless he has another one, he's still going to school, because he's acting perfectly normal in every other respect.
I plan to send them both on the bus, eat my own lunch, and then crawl into bed until their return bus arrives.
