Anatomy fail

A concept that's been done before, but this particular tumblr is one I came across in a recent blog post from author Jim C. Hines, who chose to demonstrate personally the issues he has with poses of women on fantasy novel covers.

Not particularly safe for work, esp. since some of the submissions appear to be from hentai games or by artists who got their start in cheesecake/porn art.

Back from the doctor

BP was 135 over 75, EKG was normal. My doctor wants me to go in tomorrow for blood work to test for anemia and thyroid issues, even though we did that last summer, just in case, because those are the most common causes of symptoms like mine. She's also putting me back on Prozac (I'd kinda fallen away from taking it ::cough:: a revelation which worried Tom exceedingly; we both remember all too well what last summer was like.) because it's remotely possible that coming down off of my old prescription, albeit slowly, might have been related. She doesn't think it likely, and neither do I, but I do want to be back on Prozac again.

I go back in three weeks to discuss the bloodwork results. If that turns up nothing, we're looking at either a stress test (stick me on a treadmill, strap monitors to me, see what happens) or a take-home heart monitor to see what occurs when I do the activities that trigger symptoms.
