Aug. 19th, 2010 12:44 pmYesterday was ridiculously frantic, as I could NOT find Mark's birth cert. or soc. sec. card for the life of me, and we needed to have the school scan copies of them by the end of the day.
It was so bad that Davner decided to zip home from work in mid-afternoon to try and help me find them. Fortunately for my dignity, I found them a few minutes after he came home, and in the orange folder I'd been sure they were in. Just not in any of the usual places for important papers. Instead, it was in the garage, where I'd left it after our last trip to his old school for important papers, intending to put it away properly at my leisure. Instead, it slipped my mind, and the usual detritus of garages drifted across the box as time passed.
Because of this, I'm getting some office supplies today, including plastic document holders for three ring binders, and whipping the Box of Doom Binder into shape.
The important thing is, Mark's registration for his new school is done by the deadline. We got his Zyrtec refill with minimal effort. (Team Pete's Med Group once again beats Langley all hollow.) And while we didn't get his epi-pen permission form signed by his doctor, we did get an appointment for his school physical on Sept. 15th, and his doc. will sign it then. (We still have to find polo shirts in his approved school colors that don't drown him in fabric.)
I can't wait til Monday. ^_^;;
Next Friday is Jack's well-baby. And the Friday after that is Mark's first appt. with his ABA therapist. Still working on Jack's speech therapy. A few days after that, Dav leaves for a TDY to the Bahamas. (Yes, Jeff, I am plotting my revenge present. >:D ) And shortly after that, my first class at UMUC starts.
Verrry very busy.
