Found this while looking up Nebraska marraige laws and license requirements. (If Dav gets PCS-ed to a base that requires unmarried enlisted to live in barracks, before we get married the way we want to, we may need to get a quick courthouse wedding done.)

I love this state. ::slight eyeroll:: I can at least faintly grok states with laws that restrict the word "marraige" for straight unions and some form of legally recognized union for gay couples which has a different name, even if I vehemently disagree with such laws as semantic quibbling. WI is one of those, as I recall.

I utterly fail to grok states which will not acknowledge any sort of bond between same sex couples.
