Steph and I went to Danna and Richie's wedding yesterday. Good thing Steph clued me in that the bride loathes being called "Dana" or having it spelt with only one n.... Tom certainly hadn't ever said a thing, even though I'd been asking him the night before if there was anything I ought to know about her... :p All this time I thought Dan and Janet were merely pronouncing it with a bit of an accent... Steph saved me from a major error in signing the tag on the gift I bought, and a bigger error in calling her "Dana" to her face...

It's always a trifle awkward going to a wedding when you haven't actually met the bride and groom yet. ^_^; Didn't know anyone except Steph, and Danna's parents. Still not sure if they'll like the gift I chose. I found a tea candle holder at JC Penney's, that looks like a miniature Tiffany stained glass lamp. Red and white glass, and Steph told me Danna loves red. The wedding colors were red and white. The stained glass pattern was really pretty, so hopefully it will be a sucess.

I got gooey at several points. *^_^* They're a cute couple, and very clearly happy.

I wish Tom had been there, so I could drag him out on the dance floor and make fools of ourselves like some of the others were. ^_^

Today I'm home alone. Steph and Jase got two free tickets for the Jaguars game from a friend of his - mostly because their original owner decided he had better things to do than watch the Jags get their asses handed to them yet again. ^_^ But from what Steph and Jason tell me, the partying that goes on ought to be good regardless of how badly the team plays.

The weather got a bit cold and icky today - well, compared to this past week. Compared to what Mom just IMed me about the weather back home, it's lovely here. ^_^ V I hope the stadium's roofed, because I don't think they brought jackets. The puppies still enjoy going out to the yard immensely, though. Silly puppies.

Last night's lunar eclipse was a washout. Too damn cloudy. :;sigh:: I was looking forward to it.

Think in a bit I'll go out for a stroll and get some lunch. The route we took home from the wedding went along the path to the library, so now my scattered brain knows how to get there again. I hope there's some fast food place near it, because there's really nothing in the fridge that doesn't require buying something else to complete the dish. And I'm all out of frozen dinners.

Rawr. I'm hungry.
