Jul. 2nd, 2003 12:47 amKept trying to post this earlier; and constantly got error messages stating that the server my journal's stored on was down for maintenance. I've got more to write about, but it's late, and I'm *tired*. I hate working two jobs; means I'm in bed late _and_ have to be up early the following day too often.
Feh.
Rib-region pains again. Annoying without being debilitating.
Tagged along when Mom and Katie took Aunt Lori to the bank earlier. I was going to use it as an opportunity to tell her about the move, but had no chance. It was just a quick run to the bank for aunt Lori to deposit her check, and then back to her house. Then we left to go shopping without her.
::sigh:: And she doesn't have e-mail, so I can't write her. Not sure what to do. I *like* aunty Lori. And aunty Marge. They're nice aunts, unlike aunt Mary, who has been rumored to contact her mothership regularly via satellite. I want to tell them, and soon. But I see them so seldom, I don't know how to arrange it. ;_;
I've got work at K-Mart for the next six days running. And I'm working from 8 am to 11 pm on the Fourth, between the two jobs. ::grump:: Everybody else is going over to aunt Mary's house, although her family's on vacation, to use the pool and excellent deck in their backyard. But I can't.
::sigh:: I will at least be able to watch some of the fireworks at Gilles in the parking lot. We're situated between three different parks, all of which have their own fireworks displays. Nobody comes in the restaurant during the fireworks, so we can be lazy until they're over and the rush begins. But still. I'd like to spend a nice lazy Fourth, or at least _part_ of the Fourth, eating barbeque and watching Katie wave sparklers around.
On the upside, I won't have to be at work on Saturday until 4 pm. So I can sleep in, and be nicely lazy during the morning. And best of all, my last day at both jobs will be the 11th. ^_^ V Tom will be arriving in his dusty pickup on the 17th.
I can't wait. I miss him deeply. More deeply than I can really express.
