Our Zodling has developed a bad habit of grabbing his Backyardigans dvds and either bringing them to us, and whining when we don't play them; or just running around the house carrying one or more, and when busted for gnawing on them, flings them into the air and zooms off looking guilty. ^___^ He's such a goof.
So, we started storing them on top of the dvd case, instead of on a shelf in his reach.
Yesterday he started bringing me Labyrinth. I knew perfectly well he didn't actually want to watch it; he gets terribly bored when I feel like watching it. So I told him he was being silly, and kept putting it back on the shelf. Interestingly, he didn't whine. He just kept bringing it to me.
Lightbulb went off. I walked over the the dvd case, put Labyrinth back, and grabbed a Backyardigans dvd from the top of the case. He started giggling and bouncing up and down as I put it in the player.
Five minutes ago he brought me one of our BSG boxed sets. ^_^ I was a lot quicker to catch on this time.
