Ran out of baby meats for Mark due to some of it going bad in the fridge. Swung by K-Mart, in the course of my "Get outta the house before Zodling and I lose out minds" jaunt, to get more. Checking over the stage 3 bottles for his allergens, I caught sight of some that included noodles. (Well, mooshed up noodles.) "Squee!", I said to myself, "Mark no longer has the wheat allergy! Maybe we can try those finally!"

Alas, no. Because noodle products, as the ingredient list notes, contain eggs.

::head smack:: Duuuuurrrrr. I've seen packages of "egg-free" noodles before. I knew that. Really. Not a baka at all, I swear.

They did have other flavors he's eaten before. I grabbed three to tide us over til payday. I also grabbed a jar of stage 3 blueberry crunch, which is free of his particular allergens, to try out at lunch. I hate giving him watery mush. I'd share some of the fish fillets we're having for dinner, minus the breading, but I'm not sure how bad, if any, his possible seafood allergens are. We haven't gotten the hardcopy of his test results yet. I don't *think* he's allergic to fish, or Dr. Morales would have said something. But I'm feeling paranoid, so I'll wait.

Need to make his next followup appt. with Dr. Bodlt. Need to do more online research on double strollers - want one that our old infant car seat can snap onto. Need to do more research on the air cleaners so we can get one for his room when the tax refund clears the bank.

Need to get more sleep. @_@ Zodling 2.0 needs to quit making mommy spend hours awake at night for no apparent reason.

Your not supposed to try seafood on babies/toddlers until they are at least 3 yrs old.

Huh. For some reason I thought shellfish and shrimp were out, but regular fish might be ok, provided he wasn't allergic. No big deal, there's other meat we can give him.

Yeah, the only reason I know this is because whenever I would go for my WIC appts with Aiden and they ran blood he would come back with low iron and the nurses would go over the "iron rich" foods he should be eating....they always tell me tuna then say "oh, but he can't eat that until he's 3." lol

For the double stroller, try babies r us. As long as you get the same brand name, it should work. If there is one by you, you can even go in there and try them out...bring in your carseat and see if it snaps in.
